This anthology issue features three crime and mystery stories. "The Mystery of Room 712!" follows the Berlin Police as they use detective methods to hunt a murderer who committed a crime in a sealed apartment six floors above the city. A tale involving the Norton household follows, where a coded message hidden in an apple leads to a confrontation with criminals attempting to kidnap a young boy. "Terror of the Everglades" depicts the Ashley-Mobley gang, a notorious outfit that terrorized Florida's swamplands between 1916 and 1924, as they hideout in the Everglades while law enforcement closes in.
