The Hawks travel to Netherworld, a rock 'n' roll kind of place for superfreaks. A drug called Hairball turns them into werewolves. Once they are werewolves the people hunt to kill. Katar "claims the kill" on Zululu, now a werewolf, and proves the addiction can be beaten when he doesn't kill her.
