“Flight's End Part Four: The Hunt”

In "Flight's End Part Four: The Hunt," the Hawks descend into Netherworld, a wild, rock 'n' roll haven for the freakish and forbidden. There, a twisted drug called Hairball transforms them into werewolves, turning the once-protected into hunted prey. With tension rising and primal instincts flaring, Katar makes a bold choice that challenges the cycle of violence—proving even in the grip of transformation, control and compassion can still hold. Written by John Ostrander and brought to life by Tim Truman’s dynamic art, with inks by Tim Bradstreet, colors by Sam Parsons, and lettering by Tim Harkins, this issue delivers a pulse-pounding chapter in the Hawkworld saga, all capped by Truman’s striking cover.

The Hawks travel to Netherworld, a rock 'n' roll kind of place for superfreaks. A drug called Hairball turns them into werewolves. Once they are werewolves the people hunt to kill. Katar "claims the kill" on Zululu, now a werewolf, and proves the addiction can be beaten when he doesn't kill her.
