Part four of "The High, Hard Shaft" arrives with a cover by Howard Porter and Tim Townsend that puts Clint Barton front and center in his purple mask and Avengers-badged costume, driving a razor-sharp arrow straight toward the viewer with fierce intensity. Scattered papers and a glowing burst of energy frame the moment, giving the whole image a kinetic, on-the-edge-of-something feel. With Fabian Nicieza writing and Stefano Raffaele on art, this 2004 series continues to make a strong case for Hawkeye as one of Marvel's most compelling ground-level heroes.
