Haunted #54
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeBaron Weirwulf's Haunted Library delivers chills in this 1981 Charlton issue, with cover art by Pat Boyette depicting a genuinely unsettling sequence: a rain-soaked clown lurking outside a window at night, its grotesque painted face pressing close against the glass, then creaking open a door in the darkness. The sound effects — "SLOSH SLOSH" and "CREEEK" — do as much atmospheric work as the imagery itself, making this a wonderfully eerie package. Joe Gill and Pat Boyette, handling writing and art duties alike, are clearly having a great time in horror territory.
