Harley Quinn strikes her most gleefully unhinged pose center-cover — white face paint, signature red-and-black split hair, and wide wild eyes — while a crowd of bewildered onlookers reacts with horror and disbelief behind her, all set against the backdrop of what appears to be a carnival or amusement park. The cover tagline promises "Mystery Assassins Meet Their Match," which paired with Harley's delighted expression suggests she's having considerably more fun than anyone else in the scene. Amanda Conner's pencils and inks bring an infectious energy to this New 52 chapter, and with Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti writing alongside Chad Hardin's interior art and Alex Sinclair's colors, issue #8 of this 2014 series is exactly the kind of chaotic, crowd-pleasing fun the character was made for.
