When a can of tiger-striped paint vanishes from Mr. Monk's jungle department store, the bumbling Stupor Cub springs into action to track down the thief—though his investigation quickly spirals into chaos involving crocodiles, a resourceful mouse, and more than a few false leads. What starts as a straightforward case of theft turns into a slapstick adventure full of wild chases and unexpected twists that test even a superhero's patience.

When a hound pup desperate to prove himself as a fox-hunter meets a helpful frog willing to teach him about his quarry, a series of well-meaning lessons go hilariously sideways. "Fixer" Fox by Don Arr is a classic case of mistaken identity and mixed signals that leaves everyone—especially the eager student—confused about what a real fox actually is. It's seven pages of pure slapstick as the pup's determination collides with his total lack of common sense.

Two hungry mice stumble upon a Model Makers Magazine and spot blueprints for a scale model dive bomber—and get the bright idea to actually build one and use it to finally breach the pantry where a troublesome cat stands guard. With Squeak as pilot and Pip as navigator, the pair take to the air in their homemade aircraft for a series of bombing runs, but when headwinds ground their first attempts, they improvise with whatever gadgets they can find to outmaneuver their feline nemesis. It's a pint-sized aerial assault that proves sometimes the best weapons against a cat come straight from the workshop.
