Cassie Hack plants herself protectively over a terrified blonde woman, bat in one hand and blade in the other, as an enormous tentacled monstrosity crackles with violent lightning above the city street — it's a striking image that captures exactly the kind of big, weird trouble this series relishes. "Fame Monster Part 3" promises the escalating chaos you'd hope for from that title, and Erik Jones's cover work gives it real visual punch. With Tim Seeley writing and Daniel Leister on interior art, this 2011 Image run continues to deliver horror-action with genuine style.
