Cassie Hack launches herself airborne on this blood-soaked Cover A, wielding a barbed baseball bat while a crowd of monstrous threats — a chainsaw-toting brute, a pig-faced figure, and a doll-masked horror — surges beneath her. The warm amber gradient behind the carnage gives the whole scene an almost lurid, grindhouse energy that perfectly suits the series' horror-slayer premise. Issue 16 arrives during Image's 20th anniversary year, and Hack/Slash remains one of the publisher's most unapologetically fun genre titles.
