A lazy farmer's pigs keep vanishing to a magic ogre haunting the countryside, and when a trap fails spectacularly, the whole kingdom gets word of the threat—prompting a brave (or foolish) young animal to march straight into the ogre's cave and challenge his shapeshifting powers. What unfolds is a battle of wits where our hero refuses to be intimidated by the monster's transformations, baiting the ogre into increasingly ridiculous forms. Sometimes the simplest trick wins the day.

A scientist's wild experiment swaps the personalities of a lion and a mouse—leaving the lion convinced he's a tiny cheese-nibbler and the mouse thinking he's the king of beasts. When both escape into the city, chaos erupts as the pint-sized "lion" terrorizes an unsuspecting cat, while a hapless woman catches what she thinks is an enormous mouse in her trap. The scientist races to undo his creation before the mixed-up animals cause any more mayhem.

When a popular canary crooner becomes the obsession of his adoring fans, two jealous birds devise a scheme to get rid of him—only to set off a chaotic chain of events involving a eager cat, an overzealous dog, and a mysterious bomb. In this 1946 funny-animal romp, one scheme leads to another with escalating mayhem, leaving everyone's plans (and the household) in complete disarray. It's a wild ride of slapstick and mistaken intentions that proves sometimes the best-laid plans go hilariously wrong.
