☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis anthology issue features "Izzy and Dizzy in The Ancient Flame Thrower," in which the characters encounter a fire-breathing dragon. The issue also includes a story about anthropomorphic flowers enjoying a pleasant day outdoors, and "Mac and Jack," in which a bear and rabbit engage in a comedic dispute over fishing responsibility and Jack attempts various methods to convince Mac to help catch fish, only to be repeatedly refused with "Nope!"
Daniel Spaniel's duty is simple: keep the chickens out of the garden while his owner is away, but when a sickly chicken shows up desperate for spinach seeds to improve his health, the loyal pup finds himself caught between his sacred trust and an unexpected problem that requires more than just a stern bark to solve. With a bone discovered in the yard and a chicken determined to trade it for what he needs, Daniel must think fast to find a way through this standoff without betraying his master's trust.
Judge Pupple presides over his courtroom with grand ambitions for serious cases, but finds himself saddled with a parade of petty offenders—including the mysteriously named No-Neck Finnegan, who's charged with bigamy, blackmail, and grand larceny. As the hapless judge tries to navigate courtroom procedure while repeatedly breaking his gavel, he discovers that his defendant has some surprisingly specific demands about his own sentence. A delightfully absurd tale of judicial mayhem where the punchline lands harder than the judge's courtroom authority.
