Two pulse-pounding Western tales share the cover of this July 1959 Atlas/Marvel gem, with cover art by Jack Kirby and Chris Rule. The top panel puts Wyatt Earp in a tense face-off as the menacing Doc Halliday — billed right on the cover as "the most dangerous man in the West" — levels a pistol at him while bystanders scatter in the background. Below, Kid Colt appears to freeze under pressure, hand raised as an antagonist taunts him with the "mark of the coward," promising a story where the hero's reputation is very much on the line.
