Marvel's long-running western series puts Kid Colt in a wildly unusual predicament in this 1974 issue — the cover by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers throws the red-shirted outlaw into the thick of a circus gone wrong, fists and guns blazing as he faces down an enormous bear, a strongman, a tightrope walker, and what appears to be a clown, all while a suited villain taunts that he's "finished."
