With Pokey in tow, Gumby stumbles into a suspicious sales pitch that quickly reveals its sinister undercurrent, all drawn in Rick Geary’s distinctive, offbeat style and colored with Steve Oliff’s vibrant, slightly skewed palette. The cover, also by Geary, captures the series’ off-kilter charm with its exaggerated expressions and playful composition.
