Groo: In the Wild #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe wandering barbarian Groo looks characteristically undaunted as he crouches sword-in-hand beside his faithful dog Rufferto, facing down an enormous, densely packed mob of purple-robed warriors stretching to the horizon — a perfectly Aragonés crowd scene brimming with expressive faces and chaos. This is issue #2 of 4 in the In the Wild miniseries, with the full creative team of Aragonés, Evanier, Sakai, and Strachan delivering their signature blend of comedy and mayhem. If the cover is any indication, Groo's odds are spectacularly terrible, which means the fun is just getting started.

After routing King Putrio's army in a refreshing after-meal fray, Groo and Rufferto wander to the village of Marfim, known to them as the home of the delicious Ortix Antelopes. But the Ortix Antelopes are all but extinct, having been hunted down for their ivory antlers and sold as a thriving enterprise of King Putrio. On their way to confront the king over this atrocity which has left no Ortix Antelopes for Groo to eat, our heroes come across "New Town" a massive dwelling construction project backed by King Putrio. Groo destroys "New Town" forcing the king to raise a second army to slay Groo.
