Groo: Friends and Foes #11
Groo the Wanderer is front and center on this wonderfully chaotic cover, dual swords raised as he grins through yet another brawl — this time alongside a jester-hatted Minstrel strumming his lute amid a crushing mob of armored soldiers, panicked onlookers, and at least one very unhappy dog. Sergio Aragonés packs every inch of the cover with his signature wall-to-wall cartooning energy, and colorist Tom Luth's warm yellows and greens give the whole glorious mess a bright, inviting glow. "The Minstrel" installment of Friends and Foes looks like exactly the kind of calamitous company Groo was born to keep.
