The penultimate issue of Rick Remender and Brian Posehn's seven-part series arrives with a gut-punch of a cover by Brett Parson — a bloodied, long-haired skater staring out from a wrecked, cluttered room, one eye swollen shut and face absolutely wrecked, with a skateboard visible in the corner. Colored with grim intensity by Moreno Dinisio, the image carries the raw, bruised energy of a story clearly not pulling its punches as it heads into its final chapter. If you've been following this scrappy, hard-edged series, issue #6 makes a compelling case that things are coming to a head.
