The fifth chapter of Rick Remender and Brian Posehn's seven-part skateboarding saga finds tension boiling over, as Brett Parson's cover captures a scrappy blond kid in a denim vest squaring off against a much bigger, angrier guy in a red shirt who's cocked his fist and ready to swing. A roaring crowd surrounds them — cups and bottles flying through the air — giving the whole scene the charged energy of a confrontation that's been a long time coming. Moreno Dinisio's warm, sun-drenched palette wraps it all in that unmistakable '80s afterglow that has made Grommets such a treat.
