Grimm #11
Based on the NBC series that was captivating audiences in 2014, Dynamite's Grimm #11 captures the show's dark atmosphere beautifully — cover artist Lucio Parrillo renders a lone man surrounded by an eerie green supernatural force, desperately bracing himself against a massive, shadowy creature with outstretched claws and leathery wings looming from the shadows of a brick alley. The sense of dread and otherworldly menace is palpable, with the sickly luminescent glow enveloping the figure giving the whole scene an unsettling, urgent energy. With writers Jim Kouf, David Greenwalt, Kyle McVey, and Marc Gaffen aboard alongside the artistic team of Rod Rodolfo and colorist Thiago Dal Bello, this issue delivers the Wesen-fueled tension fans of the franchise are sure to appreciate.
