Grimm #10
Dynamite's Grimm #10 delivers one of the series' most unsettling covers, painted by Lucio Parrillo: a man strains desperately against dark, smoky tendrils while an enormous, skull-faced creature with jagged horns and multiple limbs looms over him in a sickly, fog-choked atmosphere. The contrast between the vulnerable human figure and the towering, grotesque wesen above him captures exactly the kind of dread that makes this NBC tie-in series so compelling. With a creative team including Grimm TV architects Jim Kouf and David Greenwalt alongside interior art by Rod Rodolfo and colors by Thiago Dal Bello, this 2014 issue is a satisfying entry for fans of the show and dark fantasy comics alike.
