Three armed figures dominate this kinetic 1995 cover: a dark-haired man in a trench coat levels a revolver at the viewer, while Grifter — red-gloved and mask-wearing — thrusts a glowing weapon directly forward, and a wild-haired, bandaged combatant brandishes a pistol to the right, all pressed together in an intense, close-quarters standoff. Ryan Benjamin's pencils and Tom McWeeney's inks give the composition real force, the swirling background and fiery energy at center adding to the charged atmosphere. By issue #4, this WildStorm-era series was clearly committed to high-tension action, and this cover makes no apologies for it.
