Part of DC's New 52 initiative, Grifter #10 finds Cole Cash pressed hard against a wall, dual pistols and a knife in hand, his red mask and blond hair unmistakable as he braces against what the cover bluntly warns is "No Escape from the Daemonites!" — a looming, glowing-eyed Daemonite visible just around the corner makes the threat feel immediate. Rob Liefeld handles both pencils and inks on the cover, delivering a tense, close-quarters composition that sells the desperate energy of the tagline "No Way Out!" Writers Liefeld and Frank Tieri, with interior art by Scott Clark and Dave Beaty, keep this New 52 series firing on all cylinders.
