Green Lantern: War Journal #2

Part of DC's 2023 "Dawn of DC" initiative, Green Lantern: War Journal #2 plunges headfirst into something gloriously unsettling — the cover by Taj Tenfold depicts our Green Lantern hero in street clothes, unarmed and surrounded on all sides by snarling, decayed revenant zombies closing in fast. The tagline "Night Ride of the Revenant Zombies!" sets an urgent, pulpy tone that writer Phillip Kennedy Johnson and artist Montos seem more than ready to deliver on in the story "Off the Rails." It's a compelling, atmospheric cover that makes issue #2 a genuinely intriguing next chapter in this new series.
