Oct 2002 · DC · 5.95 USD; 9.95 CAD
“Evil's Might, Book One of Three”

In the alternate 1860s New York of *Green Lantern: Evil's Might #1*, Irish gang leader Alan Scott rules the streets with an iron fist, but not everyone in his crew agrees—especially cartoonist Kyle Rayner, whose sketches of the city’s corruption draw the ire of the elite. When he intervenes to protect a pawn shop owner, he’s rewarded with a mysterious green lantern, while his satirical drawings continue to stir trouble. Meanwhile, feminist journalist Carol Ferris finds herself in a scrape, rescued by her fiancé, Inspector Hal Jordan, as tensions simmer beneath the surface of a city on the edge. Written by Howard Chaykin and David Tischman, with art by Marshall Rogers and inks by John Cebollero, this Elseworlds tale blends noir grit and supernatural intrigue, all wrapped in a striking cover by Rogers and Cebollero.
