Part two of "Revolt of the Alpha-Lanterns" arrives in this 2010 Brightest Day tie-in, with a cover by Ardian Syaf and Vicente Cifuentes that packs the Corps front and center — a fierce female Lantern with glowing eyes leads the charge alongside a ring-wielder brandishing a construct rifle, while the blue-skinned Ganthet and armored teammates surge powerfully behind them. The energy crackling off those rings gives the whole image a sense of escalating tension, perfectly suited to a story about rebellion within the Corps' own ranks. Tony Bedard and Ardian Syaf make for a compelling team on one of DC's most action-charged ensemble books.
