Green Lantern Corps #45
Part of DC's sweeping "Blackest Night" crossover, Green Lantern Corps #45 arrives in April 2010 with a cover — penciled by Patrick Gleason and inked by Rebecca Buchman — that pulses with raw, ring-fueled energy. On the left, a red-suited Lantern charges forward wielding a blazing red chainsaw construct, fire and fury radiating behind him, while a surge of green-uniformed Corps members — human and alien alike — rush to meet the threat, their emerald light colliding with a violet-ringed figure rising from below. Peter J. Tomasi's "Red Dawn" chapter promises exactly the kind of multi-Corps, all-out clash that the cover so vividly sets up.
