Part two of "Red Badge of Rage" arrives in this 2010 Blackest Night tie-in, and the cover by Patrick Gleason and Rebecca Buchman makes an immediate impression — a battle-worn Kyle Rayner, his face bloodied and twisted with fury, thrusts his glowing green ring forward amid swirling crimson chaos, while the tagline "Burn, Kyle, Burn!" hints at something fierce at work. The hellish red environment surrounding him and the scattered Green Lantern insignias dissolve into the carnage, painting a vivid portrait of a Lantern pushed well past his limits. Peter J. Tomasi's Green Lantern Corps was delivering some of its most intense storytelling during the Blackest Night crossover, and this issue looks every bit the part.
