Part nine of "The Sinestro Corps War" arrives in this December 2007 chapter, and the cover makes the stakes unmistakably clear: a battered, bloodied Green Lantern charges forward in close-up while a squad of Corps members — human and alien alike — surge behind him through crackling green energy, the blunt tagline "Lethal Force Approved!" hanging over the chaos. Patrick Gleason's pencils and Tom Nguyen's inks pack the composition with intensity, conveying a Corps pushed past its limits and fighting on anyway.
