Green Lantern Corps #1
"Escapist Entertainment" kicks off a bold new chapter in the Green Lantern Corps with a haunting tale written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Kevin O'Neill, whose distinctive art brings a surreal, nightmarish edge to the story. Abin Sur ventures into the forbidden reaches of Ysmault, where he encounters the terrifying Empire of Tears and the enigmatic Qull of the Five Inversions, who offers cryptic answers to his questions—each one carrying a weight that echoes far beyond the moment. The cover, a striking collaboration by Ed Hannigan and Joe Staton, captures the eerie, otherworldly tone of this chilling first issue.
