Green Lantern Annual #1

Part of DC's 1992 "Eclipso: The Darkness Within" crossover event, this oversized annual puts Green Lantern squarely in the path of one of DC's most unsettling villains. Bill Willingham's cover says it all — a determined Hal Jordan stands his ground in full GL uniform while the massive, shadowy form of Eclipso looms behind him, a fallen woman in pink collapsed between them, with the ominous tagline "…In Blackest Day!" driving home the stakes.
