Green Lantern #33

Part five of the six-part "Uprising" arc finds Hal Jordan plunging headlong into a world consumed by living flame — the cover, penciled and inked by Billy Tan, captures him driving his ring-fist forward as enormous walls of fire churn and curl around him, the green of his uniform and power ring blazing against the inferno. It's a striking, kinetic image that perfectly sells the desperate urgency of "Last Stand of the Lanterns."
