The split-panel cover by Alex Saviuk and Dick Giordano tells the story in an instant: on the left, Green Lantern charges his power ring near a lantern while a blonde woman shouts a desperate warning, and on the right Green Arrow bursts through a doorway crying "Too Late!" as a blinding yellow explosion engulfs Green Lantern.
