“A Slight Case of Vertigo..!”

The second chapter of this 1983 DC mini-series puts Oliver Queen in serious trouble — the cover by Trevor Von Eeden and Dick Giordano shows Green Arrow tangled and pinned within a chaotic web of criss-crossing arrows, his green-and-yellow costume doing little to help as he struggles against the snare. That tagline, "A Slight Case of Vertigo..!", perfectly captures the disorienting energy of the image, with arrows radiating in every direction around the Emerald Archer's strained figure. Mike W. Barr and Von Eeden are crafting a tightly wound adventure here, and this cover makes it very clear the odds are not in Ollie's favor.
