Part of DC's 2011 Brightest Day crossover, this issue promises a "Final Stand" as Oliver Queen stands resolute in his emerald hood and armor, surrounded by the gnarled, enclosing darkness of the Star City forest. Two blazing arrows streak across the cover in brilliant white light, the archer gripping one with quiet, steely determination — a striking image rendered with moody precision by cover artist Rodolfo Migliari. J.T. Krul's "In the Darkest Hour" storyline, brought to life interiorly by Diógenes Neves and Vicente Cifuentes, looks to push Green Arrow to his limits.
