Green Arrow #12
Part of DC's 2011 "Brightest Day" crossover event, this issue promises to pull back the curtain on the mysterious forest at the heart of Oliver Queen's world. Joe Prado's cover art delivers a striking composition — a determined Green Arrow crouches in the foreground, bow in hand and quiver full, while an enormous, glowing Swamp Thing looms behind him amid a tangle of roots and twisted branches, the White Lantern symbol burning at his chest. With the tagline "Secret of the Forest… Revealed!" and the creative team of J. T. Krul, Diógenes Neves, Vicente Cifuentes, and Oclair Albert on interiors, this is a visually compelling chapter in one of DC's more nature-charged superhero stories of the year.
