“Return from the Deep”

In "Return from the Deep," a 1962 Charlton adventure, a future Earth crew ventures into the hostile reaches of a distant galaxy to rescue stranded scientists, only to find their passage unopposed by the planet Dagor’s inhabitants—leaving their captain uneasy. When a mysterious spore discovered on an asteroid begins to spread uncontrollably, they realize the mission was never about rescue, but something far more insidious. Cover by Joe Sinnott and Vince Colletta, this issue delivers a tense, atmospheric sci-fi tale with a chilling twist, all told through typeset lettering.
