A dictator of a small island named Mandel Astro, gets one of his scientists to capture Gorgo. The scientist tortures Gorgo with an electric prod in order to make him obedient and controllable. Astro then gets his scientist to send Gorgo after his enemies. Soon the scientist uses Gorgo to overthrow Astro, and decides to use the monster to allow him to conquer neighboring nations. Eventually Gorgo rebels against the abuse and turns on his master.
