"Gorgo's Triumph!" sees a desperate movie producer tracking down the legendary Gorgo and his mother near a remote South Seas island, hoping to capture their story on film. When his crew is ambushed by hostile headhunters, Gorgo and his mother emerge to drive them off—just in time for the producer to record the dramatic rescue. The resulting film, edited from the raw footage, becomes a surprise blockbuster. Written by Joe Gill and brought to life with striking, detailed artwork by Steve Ditko (pencils and inks), this 1963 Charlton issue captures a thrilling blend of adventure and spectacle, with Ditko’s distinctive cover completing the package.

A struggling movie producer learns that Gorgo and his mother are resting near a south seas island. He decides to go there to film them for a movie. While he and the crew show up on the island, the natives (who are headhunters) attack them, but Gorgo and his mother appear and scare them off. The producer films all this, and after returning to Hollywood, edits the footage into a movie called "Gorgo's Triumph". It's a box office hit!
