Linda writes a song, then hears it being played on the radio by Larry. He denies having plagiarised the tune. Linda is hired by Larry’s music publisher and gets to know him; they fall in love, but when she brings up her song again, he again claims to have written it alone. They break up and she moves home. However, Larry appears and admits he must have heard Linda humming it on a previous occasion and unconsciously thought it was his. Linda and Larry are reunited.
