The Luna Brothers' unsettling series continues with this second issue from Image, and Jonathan Luna's cover sets a quietly haunting tone — a pale, dark-haired woman sprawls against a tiled surface, her long hair spreading beneath her as a ghostly green light washes over the scene. There's something deeply atmospheric about the composition, equal parts eerie and beautiful. With Joshua and Jonathan Luna handling both writing and art throughout, Girls was already establishing itself in 2005 as one of Image's more distinctive and genuinely disquieting reads.
