Gideon Falls #4
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAndrea Sorrentino's bird's-eye cover for issue #4 of Gideon Falls is quietly unsettling — a vast aerial view of dense, murky woodland bisected by winding roads and dark waterways, with what appears to be an industrial or civic structure nestled at the top of the composition, its circular tanks forming an almost face-like arrangement. Dave Stewart's sickly green palette wraps the whole scene in a fog of dread, making the landscape feel less like a map and more like something watching back. Jeff Lemire and Sorrentino's collaboration continues to deliver horror with real atmosphere, and this 2018 Image series shows no signs of letting up.
