Andrea Sorrentino's cover for this 2019 Image series installment is a striking study in dread — a masked figure rendered against a burning red background, while the silhouette of a second face looms behind them, a cross-topped church visible within that shadowy outline. The layered imagery feels both intimate and deeply unsettling, perfectly in step with the tone Jeff Lemire and Sorrentino have built throughout Gideon Falls.
