Giant-Size Hulk #1
In "A Refuge Divided!", the Great Refuge fractures when Black Bolt banishes six rebel Inhumans to the un-place, a realm beyond reality. When Lockjaw returns from delivering them, he accidentally brings the Hulk into the same dimension—where, under Maximus’s influence, the Hulk allies with the exiled Inhumans to challenge Black Bolt’s rule. Written by Gary Friedrich and illustrated by Marie Severin, with inks by a stellar lineup including Syd Shores and Frank Giacoia, this 1975 Marvel classic features a cover by Gil Kane and Klaus Janson.

Black Bolt banishes six rebel Inhumans to the un-place for treason. Lockjaw takes them there but on his way back to the Great Refuge, he tangles with the Hulk whom he also takes to the un-place. Under the guidance of Maximus, the Hulk joins up with the evil Inhumans and they make their way back to the real world to remove Black Bolt from his throne. Realizing that the Hulk is an ally (after they beat on each other for awhile), Black Bolt offers to let the Hulk live in peace with the Inhumans but the jade giant declines the offer.
