Giant-Size Fantastic Four #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeAt 68 pages for fifty cents, this 1974 Giant-Size spectacular gives readers a feature-length FF epic titled "Time to Kill!" — and the cover sets the scene with tremendous energy. The Thing dominates the foreground, swinging a massive gun barrel like a club amid a Roaring Twenties street scene complete with a speeding gangster car, period buildings, and a fleeing bystander, while the looming red face of the Watcher watches from above — his speech bubbles explaining he's sent Ben Grimm back in time to prevent catastrophe. The cover, penciled by Gil Kane and John Romita with inks by Joe Sinnott and John Romita, captures that pulpy time-travel excitement that made Marvel's oversized issues such a treat in the mid-seventies.
