Charlton's long-running anthology of supernatural shockers delivers another batch of all-new frights with this September 1975 entry, featuring a cover by Joe Staton that's hard to look away from: two military men inside what appears to be a cockpit find themselves face-to-face with a snarling, green winged creature lunging straight at them, claws outstretched and fangs bared. The series host peers out from a small inset portrait in the corner, as if daring you to open the book and discover what terrors wait inside, including the Joe Gill–written tale "Not for Sale," brought to life by artist Charles Nicholas and inker Wayne Howard.
