Blackheart, as the new ruler of Mephisto's realm, makes the two Ghost Riders jump through hoops for his amusement. Blaze is repossessed by Zarathos. When offered with the choice of bringing back either his sister or Johnny's wife from the dead, Dan chooses instead to remove Zarathos from Blaze and contain the demon free spirit of vengeance within himself once again, continuing his quest as Ghost Rider.
