Ghost Rider has rescued Blaze from Centurius and Lilith and brings him to Quinn's cabin for help. John is cut and hellfire is pouring out of his wounds. Quinn helps John to focus and control the hellfire. Centurius taps into the power of Ghost Rider's chain. John learns the hellfire and a piece of the medallion of power is contained in him. Vengeance again comes looking for Ghost Rider. Vengeance is defeated and transforms back into Lt. Badalino. John knocks him out and they leave him behind. Caretaker shows up to help him and says that he is needed for the assault on Centurius.
