Skinner attacks a truck driver so that he will have skin to wear. Ghost Rider helps John and his friends when they are attacked by Lilin and then asks John for help. John refuses because he has his own problems but he relents when Ghost Rider transforms back to Dan and tells John that Centurius has his mother. On their way to rescue them they are attacked by Skinner who viciously cuts John. While Ghost Rider is battling Skinner Centurius shows up and manages to spirit John (and Skinner) away before Ghost Rider can stop them. Caretaker appears and tells the Ghost Rider that Seer can help him.
