Ghost Manor #28
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCharlton's Ghost Manor #28 (1976) sets an effectively creepy scene right on its cover, where a lone figure pressed against a rain-slicked window is surrounded by swirling purple phantoms and a massive, looming green apparition that fills the night sky above the manor's peaked roof — with only a single candle on the sill offering any comfort. Steve Ditko's cover work gives the whole composition a wonderfully off-kilter dread, framing the title's dare — "Visit Ghost Manor If You Dare" — as one you might actually think twice about accepting. Inside, Joe Gill scripts "Killer's Night Out!" with art from Récréo Studio, making this a satisfying slice of mid-1970s Charlton horror.
