King Tiger tells Ghost the story of how he banished the demon Szothstromael to another dimension and he believes the creatures they are currently chasing through Vegas are his human-demon hybrid children. Ghost and Tiger head out to the banishing place to check the seals on the dimensional trap and discover that the nearby Vortex complex is putting out energies that are weakening the dimensional barrier. When they are attacked by Lance and Lucy, Ghost stands and fights but Tiger runs away.
