“Bodies in Motion”

In "Bodies in Motion," Generation X finds a rare moment of peace at the Danger Grotto, enjoying a picnic after recent travels through St. Louis and Canada—though not everyone is resting. Skin and Chamber remain on the move, hitching a ride with Howard the Duck, while Franklin Richards arrives at the school, now without his parents. Meanwhile, Bastion’s watchful eye turns toward the team. Written by Scott Lobdell and illustrated by Chris Bachalo, with inks by Mark Buckingham, colors by Steve Buccellato and Malibu, and lettering by Richard Starkings and Comicraft, the issue’s cover by Bachalo and Buckingham captures the group’s uneasy calm.

Back at school after stops in St. Louis and Canada and with the threat of Onslaught over, Generation X takes a little down time and enjoys a picnic in the Danger Grotto. All, that is, except for Skin and Chamber who are still on the road and hitch a lift from Howard the Duck. Franklin Richards is brought to stay with the team after the disappearance of his parents. Bastion begins investigating the Gen X kids.
